Lichens are a world that has fascinated me for a long time: the merging of the marine and terrestrial worlds, as they are composed of fungi and algae; their slow development; the fact that they live on mostly living media, but without being parasites of them. So much is still unknown about these small organisms that are so primordial and pure. This linocut is dedicated to them.
And, a hidden message is present in each t-shirt. It is a thought from their contemplation, a wish to us due to admiration of their symbiosis.
